About the artwork;

Springtime northern lakes with their inch thick crust mean speed for all creatures; humans on skis and wolves chasing down prey.  At the site of a kill, all that remains are bits of Whitetail Deer fur, some smattering of blood and the evidence that all the usual suspects showed up.
