About the artwork;
Yoshio Mori fourth generation indigo dyer in Shiga Prefecture outside Kyoto, Japan. Mori-san’s family has been living and working on the same property for 140 years. He and his son offered detailed explanations for the lengthy and artistic process of growing, cultivating, processing, dying and the creation of exquisite products dyed in the stunning shades of blue-indigo.
