“Art & Loving Kindness”

Learn about Loving Kindness (Metta) practice and how we can apply this age-old philosophy to our creative and personal lives.  Individuals will discover resonating Metta phrases and create artwork to support their meaning.  Our art-making will be very free-form, abstract if desired, and otherwise more on the relaxed, “doodling” end of the spectrum. Whatever supports a non-judgmental and open mind!

All supplies will be provided (paper, markers, colored pencils, collaging materials).  However, if you want to bring any of your own supplies feel free to do so such as, watercolors, mark-making tools and collaging materials.

Sunday, Oct. 26th, 2025 from 1:00pm-5:00pm (4 hours)

Join us for a gentle and enriching workshop exploring the age-old practice of Loving Kindness (Metta) and how it can nourish both our personal and creative lives. Through guided reflection, participants will discover meaningful Metta phrases that resonate deeply with their own life experiences and intentions.

We’ll bring these insights into form through simple, expressive art-making. Whether you’re drawn to abstract shapes, playful doodles, or heartfelt collage, this process invites you to create from a place of openness and non-judgment. All experience levels are welcome—this is about expression, not perfection.

All supplies will be provided, including paper, markers, colored pencils, and collage materials. You’re also welcome to bring your favorite tools—watercolors, unique mark-making items, or personal collage elements—to make the experience uniquely yours.
