About the artwork;

The bamboo grove en route to Ohkochisanso.  It is as if the forest is whispering in low, animated tones.  Beckoning the mind and body to expand and contract with the gentle waving of the forest.  There is a phrase in Japanese, “kacho fugetsu. It literally means “flower-bird-wind-moon.”  It refers to contemplating the beauty of nature.
