About the artwork; Why Metta? In the ancient Pali language, Metta roughly translates to Loving Kindness, Loving Friendliness, Goodwill. Through this enduring meditation practice, we can open up our hearts, respond with more gentleness, and grow to be more at ease with ourselves and others. Through Metta, we can expand our awareness and understanding of the interconnectedness of all beings in our complex and amazing world.
